The Role:

We are looking for a Founding Smart Contract Engineer to lead the development and deployment of the Axiom smart contracts which interface with off-chain ZK proofs. This will involve designing and implementing the on-chain API call interface, implementing smart contracts for custom integrations with partners, and implementing a Solidity SDK.  Your work will require implementing secure and efficient systems and making design decisions to empower developers using Axiom while maximizing security and auditability.

Your day-to-day work will involve extending and optimizing our core interfaces while supporting custom integrations we build with our partners on top of Axiom. We are looking for someone with knowledge of secure smart contract design patterns, empathy for smart contract developers, and a security mindset. We also value the ability to design tasteful and usable smart contract interfaces.

Who you are:

You have extensive knowledge of Solidity and the EVM.

You have experience with developer tools for smart contract application developers (Hardhat, Foundry).

You have extensive knowledge of smart contract security and common pitfalls 

You have extensive experience with proper deployment and security practices

You have experience writing extensive unit and integration tests

You have extreme attention to detail, with a security and ownership mindset

You’re a clear communicator and value collaboration

You have a strong bias towards action 

You have an extremely strong work ethic

The Role:

We are looking for a Founding ZK Engineer who will implement and optimize cutting-edge cryptographic code for zero-knowledge proof generation. You will be working on interesting and challenging problems necessary to make ZK accessible to smart contract developers. The role will involve both optimizing the prover and implementing novel ZK circuits. Your work will be critical in scaling Axiom to empower smart contract applications to trustlessly access more data and more diverse compute.

Who you are:

You have a strong background in math/cryptography, or strong problem-solving skills and interest in zero-knowledge proofs

You have proficiency in Rust, C++, Golang, or Python. We work primarily in Rust, but prior experience is not mandatory

You are extremely detail oriented and have a security mindset

You’ve worked on challenging software projects and have an eye for performance 

You’re a clear communicator and value collaboration

You have a strong bias towards action 

You have an extremely strong work ethic

The Role:

We are hiring for a Chief of Staff to join the early team at Axiom. We are looking for someone who is deeply crypto native with an understanding of the major protocols and a feel for emerging on-chain trends.

You'd be a great fit if you're an all around business athlete who is be able to flex across multiple areas such as growth, business operations, and recruiting. You will have a seat at the table to provide input on mission critical initiatives but not being shy about rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty is key. Some examples of the types of day to day tasks include: 

Coordinate and execute on both online and in person events targeted at developers and community members. 

Ideate and execute on creative BD and growth strategies.

Support recruiting efforts by helping build out recruiting pipelines, interfacing with candidates and facilitating onboarding. 

Work with the engineering team to project manage and help drive towards timelines.

Support general day to day business operations such as in office inventory, catered lunches, and managing external vendors.

The Role

We are looking for a Developer Advocate to join a startup using zero-knowledge proofs to scale smart contract applications.  You will be responsible for driving developer adoption of Axiom.  Your role will involve writing developer documentation and producing technical content in the form of blogs, videos, and tutorials. You will also plan workshops, events, and hackathons for developers and represent Axiom externally at conferences and meetups. You work will require creating new initiatives to engage developers both online and offline and building a developer community around Axiom.

We are looking for someone with strong empathy for smart contract developers, the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a broad audience, and strong written communication skills.  We also value creativity and operational excellence in executing new initiatives and taste in spotting emerging new application areas for Axiom across crypto. This role is remote-friendly and will require frequent travel to conferences and events.
